Można powiedzieć, że dwa tygodnie temu w sobotę zacząłem i przełożyło się to właściwie na raptem kilka dni po kilka godzin pracy. O zestawie nie ma się właściwie za bardzo co rozpisywać, ponieważ model jest znany i powszechnie chwalony. Lepszego modelu Mig-21 na rynku nie ma. Świetne spasowanie, praktycznie żadnych dziwnych przypadków w trakcie budowy. Miałem lekkie szpary na łączeniu kadłub-skrzydło, ale szpachla Vallejo załatwiła skuteczne sprawę. Kolory dobierałem wg instrukcji Eduarda, główne kolory kamuflażu malowane farbami Tamiya. Po podkładzie poszła czarna baza, biały marmurek i potem mocno rozcieńczone dedykowane kolory kamuflażu. Biały, neutral grey i jako czarnego użyłem rubber black Tamki, który tonowałem jeszcze dodatkowo innymi odcieniami szarego. Kokpit to Vallejo emerald green (całkiem dobrze odwzorował charakterystyczny kolor kokpitu - jak porównałem z kalkami, to różnica niezauważalna), detale z pędzla Vallejo, REvell i Model MAster. Brudzenie to głównie farby olejne dla plastyków, które rozcieńczałem white spiritem. Model kupiłem lekko wybrakowany, ponieważ nie było uzbrojenia. Ostatecznie udało się je zdobyć. Jednak w zamian do zestawu dostałem żywiczne koła - użyłem tylko tych dedykowanych do głównego podwozia. Poza tym model prosto z pudła, miałem moment słabości i chciałem kupić pitota od Mastera, ale w porę się powstrzymałem. Znalazłem gdzieś starego Miga-21 Zvezdy w 1:72. Foto z porównaniem skali. I used the kit decals for the Polish Air Force MIG from 1996. It was a fun kit to build and it is built right out of the box. The ProfiPack comes with the photo etch accessory for the cockpit and exhaust can. I painted it with Model Master aluminum buffing metalizer paint. The interior green was Vallejo which matched the photo etch colors exactly. I also made the sensor heads on the missiles. You can see the build details and photos at additional images.
